My family loves Mediterranean food! We’ve actually had to stop ourselves from eating Greek inspired dinners for a week straight. Not only are the flavors delicious, but they use fresh ingredients, and they are easy and quick to make! We’ve also found that it’s pretty easy to feed Gideon our favorite foods cut up into bite sized pieces. One of his favorite foods is actually hummus!
homemade vegan pancakes
If you’ve read my Food Philosophy post (link) then you know that I eat mostly vegan and that I make as much from scratch as I can. One of my family’s staples is pancakes which means I make these from scratch rather than from a boxed mix. It really is super simple, so much so that mixes seem like a waste of money!
kristin's food philosophy
The way I think about food has morphed drastically lately, starting when I got married and then again while I was pregnant. I grew up being very picky, not eating many vegetables or fruits and relying on staples like Mac and Cheese, King’s Hawaiian rolls, and Pop Tarts. I was happy with the way I ate and was not willing to try new things. I actually ate a strawberry for the first time in my adult life while in college!
sarah's food philosophy
The way Kristin & I do food is a little bit different, and you’ll notice it in the recipes that we share, so I thought it would be beneficial to tell you a little bit about how I think about food and what influences my decisions when I grocery shop and make meals for my family.
